It seems the horsepower race among tuning studios will never stop. Do you think that 650 hp Mustang is powerful? No, it doesn't anymore - Shelby unveiled a new project before New York autoshow and it is a new Mustang with about 1000 horsepowers (or mustangpowers). Of course, to harness this beast Shelby has installed stiffen suspension, larger brakes, a single-piece driveshaft and a nine-inch rear end.
As I know it from the Shelby American the starting price for the limited beast Shelby models will be $150,000, but the whole set of power will cost you $200,000. Let's wait for a week for the New York Auto Show to see more details.
