Historic Italian automaker Ermini backs after 50 years of sleep. The Florence-based sportscar manufacturer plans to launch a new creation, possibly called Seiottosei or 686. The main feature of the car’s RR-layout will be the engine and the sequential transmission serve as structural members.
The sort of the powerplant was not mentioned, however, according to the official press-release (you can see it here) Ermini prefers something light and sprightly to large displacement engines. The company plans to give its creation a power-to-weight ratio on par with most supercars.
Ermini promises the finished product will be easy to maintain, offer low emissions and responsible fuel consumption. The car is expected to go on sales by the end of next year.
