According to Reuters Nissan stated that it's about to back to the life the popular make Datsun. Target markets are countries with developing automotive market. New Datsuns will be constructed from 2014 in Russia, India and Indonesia and its price starts from $6200.
Datson Company was founded in 1931 and in 1933 bought by Nissan and renamed to Datsun. During the following 40 years Datsun was supported by Nissan and produced unpretentious, reliable and inexpensive cars and pickups. I think this decision to bring Datsun back to life is proper and cars will become very popular in Russia, India and other targeted countries!
