The Nürburgring is officially out of the game. It’s broke, it’s bankrupt, it’s hopeless debtor. According to many German sources the N’ Ring needs 13 million euro to bring the ring back to life. Problem is, state officials have said it's not going to happen, nobody is going to help the Ring out.
Soon the Ring’s future will be decided in court. The court will also consider what should the government do with 524 million euro the state has already pumped into the track, an amusement park with hotels and a shopping mall that make up the local attraction.
However, the rest of 2012 will continue as planned with all planned events and nobody knows what will be in 2013.
