Peugeot is referring to its Onyx Concept Scooter as a two-in-one supertrike. Why superbike, will you ask? It transforms into scooter or into motorcycle and hits a top speed of 93 miles per hour thanks to the combination of electric motor and 400cc engine, which produces 60 horsepower and 42 pound-feet of torque.

200/50 R17 rear tire and dual front wheels like the Piaggio MP3 is what works for the Onyx’s appearance. In addition to it two driving positions may help you to look cool in any situation: one, called Sport, that puts the rider in a motorcycle-like feet-back position, and another, Urban, with a more scooter-traditional feet-forward stance.

As far as the fuel economy is a burning issue nowadays, Peugeot has worked on the Onyx’s fuel consumption – with only one gallon of petrol the superbike can overcome about 117.5 miles. Running on electricity alone, the Onyx can travel up to 18.6 miles. Using gas, it has a range of 310 miles.
