This year crossovers are very popular among buyers and it makes automobile manufacturers design more crossover models. I don’t know too much about your place but in my city crossovers warp here and there and all around. This trend creates an offer and here I would like to observe upcoming models in the next 2013 year.

1.Fiat 500X

Those who love the design of a compact and fast Fiat 500 especially will love an upcoming 500X - it’s the next step in Fiat’s growing 500-badged family, following on from the 500L MPV.
Well, actually the sizes and chassis are the same but this time 500X has a sweeping coupe-like shape as you can see. But the little guy is created just for a city-use and not expected to fulfill some off-road duties, that’s why it’s believed to be only front-wheel drive, but there are also rumors that Fiat can offer a 4x4 model. Expect a starting price of around £14,000 when it arrives in 2013.

2.Peugeot 2008

This French was unveiled to public at the Beijing Motor Show under the name of Urban Crossover Concept – a Juke rival made especially for a city use. It gets the company’s latest design language, with swept-back headlights, a bold chrome grille and a prominent bonnet badge. Engines are ranging from a 1.4-liter e-HDi to 1.6-litre turbo. Expected cost is £13,000.

3.MG Icon

The MG’s creation is much more similar to Juke than others, at least if we speak about the body-shapes. The first modern-era MG roadster. The front has shades of the MGB, while the platform will also underpin next year’s MG3. The car is believed to be in your garage in 2015 if you want it.

4.SsangYong XIV-2

The XIV-2 concept hints at SsangYong’s future. It has a clever ‘sardine-tin’ fabric roof, and if it gets the green light, it’ll join Korando crossover and Rexton and Rodius seven-seaters.

5.Renault SUV

Based on Nissan’s Juke platform car is inspired by the Captur concept seen at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Engines are likely to be shared with the Juke, meaning a 1.6-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre turbodiesel. The car has not got the name yet, but I bet it will get one right when it gets to your local dealership in 2013.

6.Jeep SUV

The major SUV’s manufacturer couldn’t sit back. It will be based on the platform of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and take its design from the Renegade concept (it more looks like the buggy from the Halo video-game). With two or four-wheel drive and Fiat Multijet diesels The supermini-sized SUV could arrive as early as next year.
