Not so long time ago Volvo has introduced a new system of recharging for electromobiles. The system allows to recharge your electromobile using any socket, but the bill for used electro energy will be introduced directly to you. And it's not the only advantage of the system.
Electric Vehicle Intelligent Infra Structure, ELVIIS - is a cooperative project of such giants as Volvo, Ericsson, Göteborg Energi. With ELVIIS you may use any available socket to recharge your electromobile. The socket will be spotted with special navigation system. With a help of display in your car or through a smartphone you may set a time of recharging and the quantity of energy that you need. Then your automobile will send a request to a energy company. Another useful feature of this system is that if there is enough time to recharge your car it will tune the recharging time-table to better conditions (in night an energy is much more cheaper).
The developers look forward and that's why the system is useful not only for car-owners, but for energy companies too. The system allows them to react to any changes in power consumption more flexible.
