Living nearby a sea shore is great, even in winter when it’s too cold to swim you can do interesting stuff, for example you may look for different things waved to a shore. Everything gets much more interesting when tsunami hits Japan and washes away vehicles and various things.
For example, hero of the article Peter Mark found a Harley-Davidson motorcycle while riding his ATV on a secluded island off the Pacific coast of British Columbia.
The bike was locked in compartment of a moving truck and traveled about 3,000 miles away from home. Rusted but recognizable inside the white cube that was apparently washed out to sea by the tsunami that struck one year ago.
Actually Peter left his finding where he found it and contacted the Japanese consulate in Vancouver to find the bike’s owner.
