Not content with a 'standard' 200mph Lamborghini, Jon Olsson is planning to build a wide-bodied monster using the wonders of 3D modelling. We can't wait to see the finished product.

Jon Olsson is a freestyle skier, entrepreneur and Gumballer, and he certainly doesn’t do things by half. In the past few years he’s built a 1000bhp Audi RS6, a Le Mans-inspired Rebellion R2K and a carbon-bodied Audi R8. So how is the X Games gold medalist going to top what has gone before? Well, in partnership with Swedish tuners Stertman Motorsport, Olsson is building a Lamborghini Huracán race car for the street.

With only 478km on the clock, Olsson has completely stripped the car in preparation for its new body. But not content with any old aftermarket kit, MLT (a Swedish measurement company) is scanning the car in order to log a 3D image of each panel. This will allow the team to create a custom-made body which should bolt onto the Huracán like a factory produced package.

Olsson said: “Personally I think this will be the best build to date. I think we will be able to go completely crazy but still keep the amazing drivability of the standard car, that’s my goal with this one, I really want to be able to drive a mad machine every single day!”

We hear you, Jon, and we can’t wait to see the finished package. We’ll keep you updated with the build, but for the time being we’ll just have to be content with watching some awesome videos from his past projects:
