More news from shiny American show-business. Not so long time ago the front man of the Black Eyed Peas was stopped by the Los Angeles police for driving his “Delorean” without number plates. When officers stopped the Will.i.am and checked the registration, they found an issue and sent the car to lockup. Will.i.am was cited for both the registration issue and failing to display a license plate, but was otherwise cooperative. A friend drove him from the scene.
But what we are interest in is the “Delorean” which is actually a prototype creation of Will.i.am’s new project IAMAUTO. The prototype is build using pieces from Delorean and a Dodge Challenger and was built by the team at West Coast Customs. What it is all for will you ask? Will.i.am hopes to start serial production of the car near where he grew up in Los Angeles as a way to give jobs back to his hard luck community.
If you ask me, I think this will be an expensive exemplar in few numbers, but who know, may be it will become as popular as Delorean is nowadays.
