Toyota is seems to wining the battle of full-size trucks with its Tundra. Toyota Tundra it is which gets the last laugh in the tonnage towing race - a showroom-stock 2012 Toyota Tundra will tow the space shuttle Endeavour to its final resting place at the California Science Center!
But how this little half-ton bug will tow almost 136000 kilograms? To cope with its hurdle Toyota has designed a special rig on which Endeavour will be towed the last quarter mile from Los Angeles Airport to the museum on October 13.
Toyota says that the truck used to tow Endeavour will be a stock V8 Tundra with no enhancements or modifications.
