Mugen is not the only company who modifies and races Hondas, Jackson Racing has been doing it for thirty years. Recently the company has announced the new supercharger for the Honda CR-Z.

The supercharger boosts eight psi what provides the 1.5-liter 4-cylinder with additional 52 horsepower and 45 pound-feet of torque. In the result the boosted CR-Z produces 190 hp and 164 pound-feet of torque. Jackson Racing has reportedly spent the past eight months refining emissions to obtain the necessary exemptions from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) – certification is pending.
