The most important point about C-X75 is its 1.6-liter engine. Not much for a sports car? Read further – this inline-four has turbocharger which boosts 1.6-liter baby to 500 horsepower.
According to Autocar, the diminutive engnine is able to acheive this output through twin-charging, or the employment of both a supercharger and turbocharger. This allows chargers to boost the engine at various RPMs making a wide powerband. And what is more interesting – the redline starts at 10,000 RPMs.
Even with such exciting characteristics car is eco-friendly and corresponds to all European ecological standards. And it doesn’t choke the engine, the amazing characteristics from papers prove themselves in real action – the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds.
As far as we have started speaking about eco-standards, it’s high time to mention that the novelty from Jaguar is a kind of hybrid car – its 4-pot charges the 600-volt battery pack which feeds pair of electric motors and allows the car to run in EV mode.
And now about the price - £700,000 to £900,000, or $1.1 million to $1.4 million based on current exchange rates. Or, maybe, you can win C-X75 in a lottery?
