Well The Genève Motor Show is no doubt the gratest and interesting show for the last year. But the things that attract me are not the sports car or serial vehicles, the most interesting in the Show are concepts, because they may reflect the future of automotive world, and the outlook of designers and engineers, their dreams.
I'd like to begin with a Japanese model, because this country is always associates with the future and high technologies. So, let me represent TOYOTA FT-Bh. I've chosen this car, because it has fewer technologies but much fresher outlook on the design. Well, FT-Bh is just a secret name of the future Yaris. With an unbelievably low, sub-1,800-pound curb weight and a 0.235 coefficient of drag, the FT-Bh uses minimalist design rather than sci-fi technology to achieve 112 miles per gallon.
Massive weight reduction is really impressive. It's about 25% lighter than the current Yaris. Don't like the appearance? Do you remember what did we say when we first saw Prius? =) Just get used to it.
