The SEMA Show made Hyundai start thinking of making at least one of its cars super-tuned. To create eye-stopping car Hyundai has partnered up with Cosworth to develop a special Genesis Coupe. The result of the cooperation is 3.9-liter V6 blue frisky which produces 389 horsepower which is 41 hp more thanks to the Cosworth’s intake and exhaust tuned manifolds. A Cosworth big brake system and suspension help keep the coupe pointed in the right direction.
As far as SEMA pays attention not to technical features only Hyundai and Cosworth have worked on the Coupe’s appearance - steering wheel, shift knob, pedals, shift boot and sports seats are all-new, while slathering the vehicle's body in satin and gloss blue paint. The stock front fascia was ditched in favor of a new piece with integrated carbon fiber brake ducts. Speaking of the composite, Cosworth whipped up a front splitter, side skirt, rear diffuser and trunk lid spoiler from the stuff just for this car.
The car will debut at the SEMA Show next month. You can also take a look at the official press-release here.
