“Right to Repair” laws make automakers and dealers share their information and knowledge about cars’ repair with independent repair shops and make special repair tools and software available for the open market. Of course this charitable step can’t be accepted by automakers and dealers, that’s why they try to oppose any possibility of passing such law.
Soon this great dispute will end in Massachusetts, USA. A ballot measure in November would allow voters to bypass state lawmakers to put a Right To Repair law on the books.
