Japanese Collective of engineers SIM-Drive has represented one of the results of its researches - electric car SIM-WIL. Creation of this car became a culmination in the researches in the sphere of electric engines for city cars.

AS the source of power SIM-WIL uses lithium-ion battery with 35.1 kW/h. The body of the car is made of spatial frame of steel tubes, plastic and carbon fiber. The absolute weight of the car is about 1580 kilograms. It accelerates to 100 km/h (62 m/h) in 5,4 seconds. The full recharge of batteries takes 12 hours if you use usual home plug or 3 hours in special recharging station CHAdeMo. The most interesting about this car that it may overcome 351 kilometers in one recharge.

I actually don't know when this car goes to the serial production, but now there is a limited amount of cars that will be experienced by scientists from the Eliica project.
